History
In the early 1960s, the De Vita family decided to abandon the historic ice production and turn the arcades, found on the Marina Grande, into rooms to welcome and offer services to bathers.
Umbrellas and deckchairs dotted the beach and accommodated resort families who spent summer imes in Amalfi.
In time, paddleboat and canoe rental services were introduced for exploring the coast and sunbathing.
Today, Tonino o’ Beach’s offerings include an increasingly wide range of services from bathing to rentals to entertainment.
